Marie Larkin-Johnson
I'm Marie Larkin-Johnson, a children's book author and freelance writer. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of West Georgia and am currently a student at The Children's Literature Institute. I absolutely LOVE writing for children because I find it exciting, as well as challenging, to take complex ideas and write in a creative, fun way that little kids can understand and enjoy. This form of writing compels me to see the world from a young, fresh perspective which, in turn, helps to keep me young-at-heart. Moreover, I feel as if I am positively contributing to the minds of the future.(smile)
I am a spiritual individual and am constantly learning how to live my life as a more compassionate, loving individual! I gain spiritual wisdom from the teachings of many New Thought authors and leaders such as: Louise L. Hay, Wayne W. Dyer, Deepak Chopra, Michael Bernard Beckwith, Ester & Jerry Hicks, Eckhart Tolle, and Ernest Holmes.
Writing spiritual articles gives me the opportunity to share with others the inspirational, thought-provoking, and life changing lessons that I myself are learning. My desire is to encourage people to believe in themselves and know that they are more powerful than they could possibly imagine!
